The first thing I did when I woke up was look at our beautiful new stained glass window. Not only is it stunning but it also fits so well with the design of the entry – the door, the lighting, the floor… breathtaking pièce de résistance! Also, we brought the ladder out again to look for your signature – I remember you saying you only signed the ones you liked! Jan, as promised, here is a picture of our dear colleague when we gave her the stained glass. She was at first overcome, then she hung it like a necklace around her neck! We were able to write a lovely speech that went with it and explained why we chose the colours we did. A large bouquet of her favourite flowers to Jan, owner of Glass Expressions, (now Jan’s Glass by the Sea) for repairing my Tiffany lamp made by her 10 plus years ago. I know you went to great lengths to find a perfect match for the missing piece of glass, at no cost to me. It came back to me all cleaned and polished and it is that much more special to me.
