Fancy That!

A unique creation of glass art work, this Hat Lamp was created using my head – literally! Yes it fits, but a tad heavy! Many hours went into this creation, the balance and flow of the brim to the crown was especially tricky – one piece at a time looking in the mirror to make sure it was correct. Wasn’t sure if the ribbon would work – but persevered! The beautiful ivory wispy glass with the pinks and greens go so well together, making a statement for sure. I found the base in Montreal in 1978 and saved it all this time, just waiting for the perfect shade. Created a dish – 4 ½” diameter – in the base to hold jewelry or?
